I must not make coffee-cinnamon-cloves-chocolate...
I have a feeling it’s a bit not good. Even if other people’s articles are giving me Hell.

Things I hate about this country:
Crap history things. Seriously crap. While I can believe in time as a wibbly-wobbly thing, I simply don’t understand how Spaniards can first find a land area in 1570 while said land area became one of the first established provinces under Spanish rule on the island in 1534. Don’t even get me started on how dates and changes of names and capitals...

Oh, gods, I hate moods.
I hate how you can’t snap out of them.
I hate how everything seems to exacerbate them, just the littlest things, you know?
And sometimes the not-littlest things.
And I don’t want to do anything or be anywhere.
I just want to curl up in a corner and wait for it to go away, but it won’t.
It hasn’t.
So I just viciously hate everything.
I miss my dog.

Murphy, Murphy, you love me too much.
You know those days that you plan out to a T, and you’re all set to make things work, but somehow, for some reason, the universe just refuses to cooperate? At all? And you’re getting stroppier and stroppier, and you know you should just chill for a bit before going on because in the mood you’re in you’ll only fuck things up, but you keep going on anyway because...

Katniss: “Peeta.“You said at the interview you’d had a crush on me forever. When did forever start?”
Peeta: “Oh, let’s see. I guess the first day of school. We were five. You had on a red plaid dress and your hair . . . it was in two braids instead of one. My father pointed you out when we were waiting to line up,”
Katniss: “Your father? Why?”
Peeta: “He said, ‘See that little girl? I wanted to marry her mother, but she ran off with a coal miner,’”
Katniss: “What? You’re making that up!”.
Peeta: “No, true story. And I said, ‘A coal miner? Why did she want a coal miner if she could’ve had you?’ And he said, ‘Because when he sings . . . even the birds stop to listen.’”
Katniss: “That’s true. They do. I mean, they did,”
Peeta: “So that day, in music assembly, the teacher asked who knew the valley song. Your hand shot right up in the air. She stood you up on a stool and had you sing it for us. And I swear, every bird outside the windows fell silent,”
Katniss: “Oh, please,”
Peeta: “No, it happened. And right when your song ended, I knew — just like your mother — I was a goner. Then for the next eleven years, I tried to work up the nerve to talk to you.”
Katniss: “Without success,”
Peeta: “Without success. So, in a way, my name being drawn in the reaping was a real piece of luck,”

I'm reading six books at once, and that would be...
There are two normal-sized paperbacks (American Gods and First Among Sequels). Then there are the two slightly bigger paperbacks (Bridget Jones’s Diary and Lud-in-the-Mist). And then there’s the thick, slightly bigger paperback (The Ground Beneath Her Feet). And finally, the fat hardbound book (Kushiel’s Dart).
That’ll be Hell to carry on my commute.

Apparently it’s docked just a (short) jeepney ride away. I might go tomorrow if I get myself all out of bed and caffeinated early enough.
